FAQ

• Question: Who organizes Angular U

  Answer: Angular U is a Silicon Valley Code Camp production that includes Peter Kellner. Dan Wahlin leads efforts around Angular Content and Kevin Nilson is responsible for other content.

• Question: Can I attend the workshops if I am not attending the main Monday and Tuesday conference?

  Answer: If there is space available in our workshops after our conference fills up we will open up spaces to those who are not attending the main conference.

• Question: Once tickets sell out is there any chance I can still get a ticket to the conference?

  Answer: Yes there is so please make sure you register and you will be on our waiting list. If we have cancellations, we will open those spots up to our waiting list and you will be notified with 24 hours to purchase the ticket.

• Question: What is the format of the event?

  Answer: Monday will open with Keynotes from the Angular core team. Specifically, Igor, Misko and Brad will open the show with some announcements and Angular 2.0 updates. We will all be in the big ballroom at the SFO Hyatt on Monday. On Tuesday, we will spend some of the day in one big group (for at least Douglas Crockford’s Tuesday keynote) and other times we will split the room into 3 sections and you will be able to choose which section to attend.

• Question: When will you release your the full schedule

  Answer: As soon as possible! As we have speakers committed, we will put them on the site and about 1 month out from the event we will publish our full schedule. If you sign up for Angular U notifications, you will receive email updates and of course we will keep our site up to date.

• Question: How can I be assured I will get a room at the conference hotel?

  Answer: We have negotiated a large block of rooms at the SFO Hyatt at a rate lower than their normal price. Make sure you reserve your room when you get your conference ticket so that you can take advantage of this great rate. There are a limited number of rooms allocated for us so make sure you book as soon as you can.

• Question: If after I’ve purchased my ticket I find that I can not attend the event can I get my money back?

  Answer: No but you can transfer your ticket to someone else and they can come in your place. You must notify us of that so we can be prepared for them to come in your place.

• Question: I’d like to speak at Angular U. Who should I contact?

  Answer: Please enter your proposals at https://angularu.com/angu/callforpapers

• Question: Can I bring my family?

  Answer: Yes. There are many things your family will enjoy in the bay area. Tickets are also available for the party. We will be sending an email out to all attendees with information on how to sign them up. The Hyatt is a quick bart ride to San Francisco.

• Question: What is my login name?

  Answer: If you signed up here for notifications, then your username is your email. Since Angular U shares the membership database with Silicon Valley Code Camp, you username is the same as it is for SVCC.

• Question: How can I get from SFO airport to the conference?
